Frequency inverters REN2S for ships

IGBT-transistor frequency inverters REN2S are designed for power supply from ship network ~3 х 220V (~3 х 115В), 400 Hz control systems, radar systems, guidance systems and own needs with voltage ~3×220В, 50 Hz of navy and civil ships.

In 2000, the Consortium produced the first production models of the REN2S inverters for use in marine environments. In the same year REN2S were delivered to the OJSC Shipbuilding company “Almaz” (St. Petersburg, Russia) and the OJSC Feodosia Shipbuilding company “The Sea” (Feodosia, Crimea, Ukraine) for the acquisition of large air cushion landing ship “Bizon”, intended for the Navy in Greece.

Over the whole period of our equipment implementation by the Greek Navy, we have not received any complaints of an accident or malfunction of REN2S. This confirms the high reliability and stable operation of our equipment in heavy sea conditions, as well as the correct choice of circuit design, engineering and technological solutions which are used for the production of REN2S.

To ensure the sinusoidal output voltage and efficiency in ship networks, frequency inverters REN2S are supplied with special filters.
