MINE WINDER DRIVE

Purpose:

A completed device is designed for the control of DC motors in mine winder drives and other mechanized applications requiring a wide range of variable speed limits such as new electric drives or the modernization of existing ones.

Main features:

  • design solutions that include new circuit engineering for the powering of anchor transducer and activator, which allows for simplification, reduction in size and weight while improving reliability (while maintaining redundancy and other positive decisions of UKTESH line);
  • application of 12- and 18-pulse rectifier can significantly reduce harmonic voltage in a DC system, thus significantly reducing the given smoothing reactors inductance;
  • new unified microprocessor control systems of converter, exciter and drive (including technology). It should be noted that the latter solution is uniform for all types of DC and AC drives for mine winder drives;
  • provision of any required power of the installed equipment (as opposed to restrictions on the use of induction motor with rotary pumps);
  • the ability to make any necessary adjustment to mine winder drive qualities (which are not attainable in induction motor with rotary pumps):

- linearity of the mechanical properties of the engine;
- complete control;
- the possibility of complete automation of mine winder drive;
- no need for additional resources (dynamic braking) to provide controlled braking;
- sufficient range of speed control.

REP2-SH provides the following features:

  • acceleration, braking and reversing of the hoist motor
    (duration of acceleration, braking is up to 30 sec.);
  • rotation of the motor with its usual speed, its maintenance and regulation in the range of 100:1;
  • static accuracy of speed maintenance when using a precision tacho and changing the load torque from zero to rated to 1% at full speed and up to 5% - at a minimum;
  • creating a working chart of the speed both of a triangular and a trapezoidal type with the specified acceleration (deceleration) and jerk limitation;
  • limiting the rate of growth and decay of the motor current;
  • step less speed reference manual control;
  • allowable overloads, depending on their duration and in accordance with the specifications on the engines and thyristor units;
  • types of control – audit, manual, automatic (for cage type mine winder drives - elevator control mode with the implementation of shunting operations at depths; for skip type mine winder drives - the signals unloading-loading vessels with the possibility of working out mode setting mine winder drive rebound);
  • consideration of the information on the nature of the goods ("cargo", "people", "equipment", "revision") from the driver's console;
  • automatic adjustable brake safety in the presence of disc brake; adjustable range of safety braking deceleration 0,75 ÷ 5,0 m/s2 when working out exactly 25%;
  • the protection provided by the rules of safety at mines;
  • lock prohibiting improper actions on the part of machine management;
  • emergency, forbidden, operational, warning alarms.

Delivery

The delivery of electric drive REP2-SH series includes such equipment:

  • reverse (up to 2500 kW) or irreversible (over 2500 kW) rectifier with microprocessor control system;
  • protective and switching equipment;
  • reverse (2500 kW) power rectifier excitation system;
  • dry-type power transformer (s) with corresponding power;
  • smoothing reactor (s);
  • set of spare parts (by agreement);
  • a set of documentation for the electric drive.

Terms of delivery, installation and warranty.

The company provides supply, installation, installation supervision, commissioning of the supplied equipment, warranty and post warranty service (by prior agreement).

Warranty period of the equipment is one year from the date of commissioning, but not more than 2 years from the date of delivery. Warranty period may be changed at the request of the customer.

The cost of the equipment is determined by the scope of delivery and the warranty period. The cost of a basic set is a more affordable solution when compared to similar products of our competitors'.
