Conrolled reversible group electric drive REN2M for managing roller beds of rolling mills

On the basis of transistor frequency inverters REN2R the object-oriented complete drives of rotary tables were designed and successfully employed by Consortium. They are a set of standardized regenerative frequency inverters, united by a common control from a single panel with a switchboard cubicle, providing the ability to quickly replace a failed FI by a standby. Electric drive provides full control of moment (at any point of parameter) and speed of rotation in any motoring and braking service regardless of load. Fiber management in conjunction with the modern element base, construction of control devices and power circuits is the guarantee of reliable operation in harsh environments (high temperature, humidity, shock loads, dust, cyclic operation, the possibility of locking and skidding of rollers, etc.).

Inverters REN2R ensure:

•  connection to one inverter REN2R of the drive motor group;

•  synchronous operation of sections, controlled by several frequency inverters;

•  smooth speed regulation from zero to rated;

• regenerative braking;

•  speed reversal;

•  increased overload capability;

•  the speed of soft acceleration and shutdown is adjusted automatically (including speed reversal);

•  control from remote panel, integrated panel or automatic process control system of upper level.
